Terms of Service
Last updated: [26th January 2026]
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you use the Holldr website and when you register interest in becoming a Holldr. By using our website or submitting a registration, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit your details.
About Holldr
Holldr is building a platform that helps parcels be delivered to trusted local neighbours (“Holldrs”) for recipients to collect later. The service is launching in phases and may not be available in all areas at all times.
Contact: team@holldr.com
Business name: Holldr Limited
Address: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ
Who can use Holldr
By registering or using the site, you confirm that:
-
you are 18 or over; and
-
the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
We may decline or remove registrations at our discretion, including where we believe eligibility or safety requirements are not met.
Pre-registration
Registering on our website is a pre-registration / expression of interest only. It does not mean:
-
you have been accepted as a Holldr;
-
you are guaranteed access to the platform; or
-
we will launch in any specific location by a fixed date.
We may contact you with updates and next steps, including verification requirements.
Verification and checks
To help keep the platform safe, we may require checks before you can go live as a Holldr. These may include:
-
identity verification and address verification; and
-
DBS checks where required (for example, depending on role, volume, risk signals, or other safety criteria).
You agree to provide accurate information and complete any verification steps we reasonably request. If you do not complete verification, you may not be able to join the platform.
How the service works
When live, the service may involve:
-
couriers dropping parcels with a verified Holldr during a set drop window; and
-
recipients collecting parcels during a separate collection window.
Exact features, availability windows, service areas and rules may change as the product develops.
Your responsibilities (if you register to be a Holldr)
If you register interest (and later if you are accepted), you agree that you will:
-
provide accurate information;
-
keep your details up to date;
-
follow any reasonable instructions we provide about handling parcels, security, and customer collection;
-
not accept prohibited or unsafe items (as defined by carrier rules and applicable law);
-
not misuse the platform or attempt to interfere with its operation.
If you repeatedly miss confirmed availability or do not follow safety rules, you may be paused or removed from routing.
Acceptable use of the website
You must not:
-
use the site in any way that breaks the law;
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
-
introduce viruses or malicious code;
-
scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the website or platform; or
-
use the site to send spam or fraudulent messages.
Communications
If you submit your details, you agree that we may contact you by email and/or SMS about:
-
onboarding steps;
-
verification;
-
launch updates; and
-
operational information relevant to becoming a Holldr.
You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time. Some messages may still be sent where necessary for onboarding or service operation.
Intellectual property
The website, brand, logos, designs, text and software are owned by or licensed to Holldr. You may not use our branding or content without permission, except as permitted by law.
Disclaimer
The website and any information on it are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
We do not guarantee that any person will be accepted as a Holldr or that the service will launch in any particular area by a particular date.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Holldr is not liable for:
-
loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill; or
-
indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Additional liability terms may apply once the live service launches and you become an active Holldr.
Changes to the service and Terms
We may update the website, service features, and these Terms from time to time. We will post the latest version on the site and update the “Last updated” date.
If you continue to use the site after changes are posted, you are agreeing to the updated Terms.
Ending your registration
You can ask us to delete your pre-registration details at any time by emailing team@holldr.com.
We may also remove or suspend registrations where we believe it is necessary for safety, integrity of the platform, or legal compliance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
